Dublin 31-10-2012 |
Halloween night in Dublin seemed like the perfect timing for a Jack White gig as he stopped off at the O2 on the European leg of his 'Blunderbuss' tour.
His late arrival onstage after 9pm, was quickly forgiven as he blasted out a variety of favourites from his large canon of songs, including from his many band collabarations White Stripes, The Raconteures and The Dead Weather.
Let's face it few rock performers are as diverse as Jack White, his ability to create dynamic guitar riffs has been nothing short of outstanding, not to mention his other multi- instrumental achievments as percussionist, pianist or even mandolin player.
This was my first time seeing White play live and my expectations were fulfilled several times over, onstage he is a relentless rocker with a tireless energy.
Highlights of the night were unquestionably a White Stripes stand out track 'Ball And Biscuit' also a rousing version of 'Steady As She Goes' (Raconteurs) and from the latest solo album a song called 'Weep Themselves To Sleep'.
Here is the full setlist...
Exclusive photos will be available soon from this Dublin date on Jack White's official website.
